Can someone tell us about the new insurance changes taking place. I understand we will only have coverage for half a year. What happens to the money that was paid into the fund for the entire 12 month period of 2003-2004? This change is to take place on January 1st. The contributions will be made during October 1st 2004 to March 31st 2005, which will then cover June through December 2005. Then April 1, 2005 through September 30th 2005 which will pay for January through June of 2006. But what happens if you don't work during the spring & summer months? Why can't we have a roll over insurance plan like so many other locals have? Local 706 has.
