Unfortunatelly i was not at the previous meeting, many of us had to work that day. And i prefer to not take sides, untill all the facts are completely clear. But the preculiar, defensive behavious of our President, and her refusal to step down, even temporary, until the matter is cleared, do not lay right with me. I am also shocked that after all this madness Vincent's still around, as well as his rivaling brother. Vincent should retire, and close this chapter of his life with a degree of honour preserved, and Richard and his cohort should be thrown out immediatly and put under a restraining order, to stay away from Local798 entirely. All the books should be audited, not by lawyers and accountants hired by either side, but by an independent team. Also i beleive an independant candidate, someone from outside of Local 798 entirelly, should become the new president. It is, i my opinion, too much of a conflict of interest to have a Local member occupy this position. I have not signed my name to this letter, for 2 reasons: 1st - i have not taken any sides, in this conflict, and i don not want my name used by either party in their arguments; 2nd - my name irrelevant, it is only my opinion that needs to be expressed, and open this discussion further.
